Take Back Control of Your Wallet
Hey thereš
My mission is to support ambitious founders and fuel innovation!
ā¦ And this^ can sometimes go wrong.
TLDR: a brand I wrote about some months has now gone MIA.
So please keep in mind that Iām never endorsing these brands.
At best, Iāve spoken with the founders once or twice.
I wanted to say this so you donāt feel misled.
I appreciate you š¤
Weāll continue as normal (for now) but I have some reservations.

Today's plan:
Use this framework to look into a business:
(1) The product
(2) The founding team
(3) Funding & Hiring
Current events + business talk
(4) Meme of the week
(5) Hustler's ambition
None of this is sponsored, I choose what to write about.
This is not financial advice either
Today is dedicated to revoke[dot]cash
The Product
(i) problem
If youāve given a dApp approval, that dApp can access your tokens.
However, checking what token approvals youāve given is tricky.
(ii) solution & demo
And thatās why revoke was created.
If you know me a bit, you know you can't just casually bring something like this up in conversation and expect me not to spend a rainy day implementing this!
Thanks Hagibis š

I hope most of you know about it already.
But basically, revoke cash shows you what approvals youāve given and you can revoke them.
Hereās how it looks like when I input my address.

Revoking access costs gas so sometimes itās not worth it to do it (e.g. if you have no tokens like me with USDT or VF2).
(iii) considerations
Smart contract risk is always there, though this product has been around since 2019 š
(iv) how you can benefit
Would strongly recommend keeping track of your approvals.
If youāre not using something often, itās best to have no approvals.
Also, if you ever get compromised - be as quick as you can to revoke access, start with the highest value collection.
The website also keeps track of different exploits + thereās a chrome extension if you fancy it šļø
The founding team
Rosco Kalis: founder (Twitter)
ā went to uni of Amsterdam
ā worked as a contractor for the 1st DeFi product on Bitcoin cash
ā vibes at hackathons and won the grand prize at one in BCHDEVCON Amsterdam
Funding and Hiring
A) Funding - bootstrapped
B) Hiring - N/A
Favourite meme of the week
The coldest tweet Iāve ever seen.
Hustler's Ambition
(A section dedicated to frameworks/ideas/tools)
A cool post about Mr Beast and what you can learn from him
See you next Mondayš
