Adventure #48 - Metaradar

Real time email notis for wallet movements

Hey therešŸ‘‹
My mission is to support ambitious founders and fuel innovation!

And today, I’m doing just that by sharing a really cool web3 product built by an independent entrepreneur.

But first, wishing all my American readers a fun 4th of July tomorrow!!

Today's plan:

Use this framework to look into a business:
(1) The product
(2) The founding team
(3) Funding & Hiring

Current events + business talk
(4) Meme of the week
(5) Hustler's ambition

None of this is sponsored, I choose what to write about.
This is not financial advice either

The Product

(i) problem

I’ve seen people get drained. The mishaps fall into 2 camps:

1/ You’re at your PC and you realize it’s happening

2/ It happens while you’re away

In the second instance, you find once after the fact OR as soon as someone else tells you (e.g. friends)

But what if your friend don’t realize either??
Then you really can’t do anything about it…

This is where Metaradar comes in šŸ‘‡ļø

(ii) solution & demo

Metaradar sends you an email as soon as an address transacts with any token (NFTs, normal crypto etc).

I set this up for my vault a few months ago - if it ever got compromised, I wanted to know asap.

However, I forgot to test it. Well, I tested it few days ago and was so confused (as I forgot I had set it up).

So I just get this random email.

Then I read it and think: wait a damn minute, hold up.
This is my address wtf.

I went on to the website to see what this Metaradar thing is and remembered.

In my defense, I test so many different products so I can’t all.

Anyhow, it worked great and I’ll be using it again.

In fact, I’ll link it up with some wallets that have exploited protocols in the past - Metaradar will keep me updated whenever the funds move 🧠

We can all be zachXBT

(iii) considerations

Don’t really have any. Your email could get leaked but I genuinely doubt it.

I’m sure Ralph wouldn’t do this doxxed if he was up to dodgy things.

(iv) how you can benefit

  • get real-time updates for fund movements of addresses

  • particularly good for addresses that are dormant

The founding team

Ralph Kuepper: buildoor (LinkedIn)

Ralph’s LinkedIn shows a variety of experiences (e.g. CTO, CEO, COO) and he’s currently running a few ventures (in web2 and web3).

I’m sure there’s more than meets the eye but I didn’t get the chance to speak

Funding and Hiring

A) Funding - not raised

B) Hiring - not at the moment

Favourite meme of the week

here, it’s not a meme and it’s not funny. NFTs are dead 😭 šŸ˜

Hustler's Ambition

(A section dedicated to frameworks/ideas/tools)

A cool thread with some examples on people who’ve niched down

Alright, that’s it. Heads up - next newsletter might fall on Tuesday.

See you thenšŸ‘‹
