Adventure #41 - Disperse
Send crypto to multiple addresses with 1 click
Gmgm,
Last weekās issue about Huddle01 was a long one.
So today is going to be short and sweet.
But itās not just a deep-dive.
Itās a business idea too š

Today's plan is as usual, kind of:
Use this framework to look into a business:
(1) The product
(2) The founding team
(3) Funding & Hiring
Current events + business talk
(5) Meme of the week
(6) Hustler's ambition
Disclaimer: None of this is sponsored, I choose what to write about. This is not financial advice either!
Today is dedicated to Disperse - distribute ether or tokens to multiple addresses
The Product
(i) problem
sending ETH to multiple addresses is annoying
it also takes a lot of time and gas
(ii) solution & demo
The solution is called Disperse.app - itās an app that allows you to send ETH to many addresses at once.
It looks exactly like the screenshot below.
Thatās the whole page haha

I used it in the past when gwei was 15 but not recently.
Many people have tested it and works fine.
When I gave away $100k to 100 Twitter users last month, all I had to do was open the disperse app and paste the 100 addresses, took 30 seconds.
It's easy to forget the most important & basic use cases of Crypto, and all the more reason to periodically remind ourselves of them.

You can also verify that on Etherscan.

The code is also open-source (remember that).
Sooo, the app works.
Howevaaaaa, there is a an opportunity in my opinion.
And hereās why šļø
(iii) considerations
People kind of donāt know if they should trust it:
itās just a website
no twitter account
anon founders (though itās open source)
So itās kinda hard to trust, especially if youāre not technical and canāt verify the code. I mean look at this (itās in their telegram group)

I also donāt think you can use it for other chains
Is there a $SOL equivalent to disperse(dot)app?

(iv) how you can benefit
Well, you can use it ORRRRRRRR
You can fork it haha! Iām serious, why not?
Make a nicer page, add a face to it (so itās not all anon), get it audited (should be cheap since the code is simple) and youāre good to go.
Build it, get traction and start flexing how many users you havešYou never know who will notice.
As for making money with it - you can take a small cut but currently disperse is free (i think) so people may not want to use your product if you charge.
Important to note: some of the up-and-coming tax software for web3 allow you to send ETH to multiple addresses at once.
Theyāre obviously b2b but may decide to make this function free (to act as a lead magnet) so keep that in mind if you decided to invest time in forking it šļø
The founding team
The website doesnāt specify who the founder is.
I also donāt know how to find it on github.
But I did find this:
I built a Disperse app with python, web3.py, and @streamlit in 4 hours.
-Encryption of sk
-approve and disperseToken in the same function call
-Support with pandas to save transactionsI can multi-send crypto with python scripts now.
Man, I love #web3 š

Funding and Hiring
A) Funding - N/A
B) Hiring - N/A
Favourite meme of the week
Decided to troll some people on LinkedIn and worked haha
It was seen by 35k people and some of the comments are hilarious š
So Iām leaving them as meme of the week
Adding a meme too just in case you donāt fancy reading through comments
POV: meme coin founders after mint

Hustler's Ambition
(A section dedicated to frameworks/ideas/tools)
This website shows the ARR of AI businesses.
Itās pretty cool so wanted to include it
Thatās it for today.
See you next Mondayš
