Adventure #42 - crypto events
All crypto events in one place
Gmgmđź‘‹ Is it officially summer???
I think so.
So I thought - maybe some of you would be looking to travel??
Split, Croatia has been on my bucket list for a few years.
I’m not there but I do look at this photo every now and again haha

Where would you want to travel to??
Reply to this email if you like, I’ll see it.
Anyway, so I was thinking…
Why not travel to… web3 events??? 🛫
Which happens to be today’s deep dive!

Today's plan:
Use this framework to look into a business:
(1) The product
(2) The founding team
(3) Funding & Hiring
Current events + business talk
(5) Meme of the week
(6) Hustler's ambition
Disclaimer: None of this is sponsored.
I choose what to write about.
This is not financial advice either.
Today is dedicated to CryptoEvents
The Product
(i) problem
Info about web3 events is fragmented
It can also be tough to see who’s going to an event
yes, you can use twitter but that usually rallies only a few days before the event
(ii) solution & demo
And that’s why now there is cryptoevents.xyz - a hub for events.
It’s extremely easy to find what you need.
Lots of filtering and search options too đź‘Ś

They have aggregated events until mid November đź‘Ź
Also, you can see who else is going to an event when you click on it

anyone else going to NFC Lisbon??
^ The profiles are hyperlinks to people’s twitters (which is how you create an account).

I’ve always wondered how valuable the data associated with your Twitter account is 🤔
You can also submit (free) or promote (paid) your own events.

What I love about this product is that it’s free but can also act as a “top of the funnel” for the team and their other operations 🔥
Even if it’s not about sales, it still builds trust and gets people to know the name “Crypto Nomads Club”.
(iv) how you can benefit
track events
submit your own event
The founding team
The team is lowkey anon but here’s what they’ve shared.

Offtopic but not really: Strawberry says he/she likes to eat crocodiles.
You may think it’s a joke (and it probably is) but people do it - The Pygmy Tribe in Congo.
I discovered it through a youtube channel.
The video is interesting but can also be disturbing.
You’ll see a man carrying a dead crocodile in the first 3seconds.
Proceed with caution - link to watch here.
New newsletter utility unlocked: world facts to share with your coworkers hahahah
Anyway, back to business
I did manage to find the designer Nicole who is also Bulgarian (like me) 🇧🇬
Funding and Hiring
A) Funding - N/A
B) Hiring - N/A
Favourite meme of the week

Hustler's Ambition
(A section dedicated to frameworks/ideas/tools)
You’ve probably heard about Atomic Habits?
But have you heard of the notion of identity-based habits?
I’ve read this article 3 times and taken notes.
Life makes sense a bit more since reading it.
And a lighter “read”
Sunday read.
This is hilarious. Engineers are competing who creates the worst UI on Reddit.
I think the winners are:
